June 7, 2012
7:00 p.m.

A June membership meeting was called to order @ 7:00 p.m. by Commodore Robert LaBuff.

Barbara Vriale introduced Ralph Bosley for associate membership. His sponsors are Jim Gribben
and Ed Legg. The rules for associate membership were gone over at the May Board meeting.
After discussion Dave Becker made a motion to accept the board`s recommendation to accept
Ralph Bosley for associate membership. John Smith seconded and carried.

A motion by Barbara Vriale to waive the reading of the previous meeting was seconded by Gary
Vanucchi and carried. The Board minutes were read and approved by Barbara Vriale, seconded
by Joe Vriale and carried.

Financial Secretary – Barbara Vriale reported the deposits for the month May. A motion by Joy
Zanchelli to approve the Financial Secretary`s report was seconded by Pam Coalton and carried.

Treasurer- a detailed financial report prepared by Clark Henderson was reviewed and approved
with a motion by Joy Zanchelli, seconded by Cliff Bertrand and carried.

REMINDER TO THOSE WHO PURCHASE THE GAS- PLEASE READ YOUR NUMBERS CORRECTLY
FROM THE TANK AND CALCULATE CORRECTLY. There have been mistakes on the gas purchases.

Vice Commodore- Gary Vanucchi reported the lunches for Saturday and Sunday duty days are
going well. He fills in when someone is not on for either day. If anyone needs some hours, you
can call Gary at 518-943-0840 to do a lunch.

Dock Master- Tony Perzanowski reported the county does not want us to use the dirt on the side
of the building to put in the water. We may have to purchase more rip rap. If anyone sees or has
a problem on their dock, please contact Tony @518-622-9777. Dock work is done until the end
of the season. If you need hours you can contact Dave Becker @518-965-1040 or Robbie LaBuff
@518-653-7649.

Commodore- Robert LaBuff reminded all members because of the board of Health rules, no
animals are allowed in the clubhouse. This was voted on at the regular membership meeting,
April 4th, 2010. Also anyone less than twenty one years of age is not permitted to sit at the bar.
Commodore LaBuff reported the club passed the Board of Health`s inspection.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Rob LaBuff is putting on a Fundraiser Frost Bite Cruise with a raffle, on Friday, September 21 st,
2012 {Macerators Band} and Saturday, September 22nd, 2012{Sticky Sweet Band}. Tickets will
be in this week. ROB IS LOOKING FOR VOLEENTEERS FOR KITCHEN .A date for the committee

meeting will be announced later. PLEASE CONTACT ROB @ 518-653-7649, FOR TICKETS OR
MORE INFORMATION. Fliers will be posted and in newsletter next month.

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN HAVING A PARTY, PLEASE CONTACT ANY BOARD MEMBER.

Committee Reports:

Grounds Committee Chairman- Dave Becker thanked Johnny Ray for cleaning up the lot next
door. Dave will be planting by the new ramp. The topsoil will be coming in this week.

Building Committee Chairman- Rob LaBuff reported he will buy the shower curtains this week.

Council- Bob LaBuff reported the Flare Up day was a success and will be doing it again next year.
He has council flags for sale at $30.00 a piece. Next council meeting will be September 11 th,
2012 at the U.S.S. Slater in Albany.

Gas Chairman- Joe Vriale reported the motor on the pump had to be rebuilt, with a year
warranty on it. We are still working off of last year`s gas price.

New Business- After discussion about purchasing a chest freezer for the club, Bill Fortman made
a motion to buy the one at Lowe`s for two hundred dollars. Rob LaBuff seconded and carried.

Old Business- Vince Wallace wrote a draft copy, historical review of our club and asked board
members and club members to look it over to add or make changes. Vince still has some more
to add. This will be put in the Boating on the Hudson magazine and on our website. After
discussion, Bill Fortman made a motion to exempt Vince Wallace from dock work because of
doing all the history for the article for the Boating on the Hudson magazine. Gary Vanucchi
seconded and carried.

Margaret Fortman wrote a letter to Commodore LaBuff and the Board members, thanking them
for their cooperation in planning and development of the access ramp and special thanks to
those who did the work.

Joe Vriale thanked Dave and Kathie Becker for making our grounds look so beautiful outside.

Joe Vriale thanked Gary and Joy Vanucchi and his wife Barbara for helping out with the
Mother`s Day Brunch.

John Smith made a request that at every meeting under committee reports, that we mention the
names of associates that are renting docks for that month, so members get to know them and
make them feel welcome.

REMINDER TO ALL MEMBERS- PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME AND DATE ON THE FOOD YOU LEAVE IN
THE REFRIDGERATOR.

REMINDER TO ASSOCIATE MEMBERS- PLEASE CALL JOY VANUCCHI @ 518-943-0840 BEFORE
LAUNCHING YOUR BOAT TO MAKE SURE YOUR PAPERWORK IS IN ORDER, ALONG WITH YOUR
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE AND YOUR CHECK.
