A December membership meeting was called to order @ 7:00 p.m. by Commodore Robert LaBuff. A motion by Barbara Vriale to waive the reading of the previous meeting was seconded by Gary Vanucchi and carried. The Board minutes were read and approved by Tony Perzanowski, seconded by Barbara Vriale and carried.
\n\t<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Secretary – Barbara Vriale reported the deposits for the month of November. A motion by Joy Zanchelli to approve the Financial Secretary`s report was seconded by Gary Vanucchi and carried.  Barbara also reported what money she has received to date for duty day, dock hours and winter storage and will notify the four members of their financial obligations that will have to be paid up by December 31, 2012.   <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Treasurer-A detailed financial report prepared by Clark Henderson was reviewed and approved with a motion by Joy Zanchelli, seconded by Barbara Vriale.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dock master- no report <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Vice Commodore- Gary Vanucchi thanked Lee Ramsdell, Bud Whitcomb, Clark Henderson, Ken Klingerman, Mike McCurry, and Steve Vanucchi for all their help taking out the underwater bridge and not one of them needed any dock time. Gary also thanked Bob LaBuff for being Commodore this year and thanked Bob, Sue and Rob LaBuff for the great job making the pig roast event such a success.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Commodore- Bob LaBuff thanked everyone for all their help with the pig roast event and thanked everyone for a good year and thanked Lee Ramsdell and Bruce Blakeslee for the great job they did on the clubhouse.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Committee Reports:<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Bar- Jim Gribben reported the Greene County Police Benevolent Association had their meeting last Thursday night and the bar rang in $300.00 dollars from that dinner meeting. He also thanked Dennis Callahan and Lenny Rein for making good food and leaving the clubhouse spotless.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

House Committee Chairman-Bob LaBuff reported we will buy a new mop head for the mop. Bob also reported we will be getting a cap for the chimney this week and he will be getting a couple more quotes from people to professionally clean the floor.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

REMINDER TO MEMBERS:  IF YOU USE THE GRIDDLE ON THE STOVE, PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHUT THE PILOT LIGHT OFF AFTER USE. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Grounds Committee Chairman- Dave Becker sent a letter to the board resigning from his position as Grounds Committee Chairman effective December 31st<\/sup>, 2012. Bill Fortman thanked Dave and Kathie Becker for the excellent job they did on the grounds this year. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Gas Chairman- Joe Vriale reported Corey Fong made up the doors for the front of the fuel tank and they will be put up in the spring. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Council-Bob LaBuff reminded members if we do have an event next year we get it on the calendar early so we do not conflict with others. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dock Rental Chairman- no report <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Old Business- The Oktoberfest held at the Freehold Pub made $550.00 earmarked for the gas insert for the fireplace in the clubhouse.  We still need about $500.00 dollars more. Joy Vanucchi and Tony Perzanowski suggested having a 50\/50 at the Christmas party and Filet Minion dinner to raise more money towards the gas insert. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Vince Wallace recommended that we establish a Ways and Means Committee early this year to go over what we know will be our monetary requirements for 2013 and come up with what it is that we  would actually have to have by raising dues, fees, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

New Business- The Board recommended to the membership to make a change in the associate rules. If associate members do not work their six hours they can elect to pay that year`s hourly rate per hour, plus tax, for each hour not worked. Failure to comply with these rules will result in removal of the associate membership list and waiting list. After discussion, John Smith made a motion to add on to the motion, they are allowed to come before the board, like any other member, if they have a hardship they like to discuss, see how this goes for a year , if it does not work out we can always go back to the way it originally was written. Joe Vriale seconded. After more discussion, John Smith retracted his motion because of what was read in board minutes, the board recommended having Cliff Bertrand be the chairman of all work hours for 2013. John felt this would resolve any issue with hours. <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Board recommended to the membership to have Cliff Bertrand be the Chairman of all work hours, with Sherry helping him, and each of them getting a duty day, for 2013. Joe Vriale made a motion to accept the board`s recommendation. Lenore Whitcomb seconded and carried.<\/p>\n

Vice Commodore- The Board recommended James Gribben for Vice Commodore. There were no nominations from the floor. Bill Fortman made a motion to accept the Board`s recommendation for Vice Commodore. Gary Vanucchi seconded. Carried. A single vote was cast by the Secretary.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dock Master- The Board recommended Edward Whitcomb for Dock Master. There were no nominations from the floor. Bill Fortman made a motion to accept the Board`s recommendation for Dock Master. Tony Perzanowski seconded. Carried.  A single vote was cast by the Secretary.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Secretary- The Board recommended Joy Zanchelli for Secretary. There were no nominations from the floor. Vince Wallace made a motion to accept the Board`s recommendation for Secretary. Joy Vanucchi seconded. Carried.  A single vote was cast by the secretary.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Bill Fortman nominated Lenore Whitcomb for a board seat. Lenore Whitcomb accepted the nomination. Jim Gribben seconded. Carried.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
