An August membership meeting was called to order @ 7:00 p.m. by Commodore Robert LaBuff.

A motion by Gary Vanucchi to waive the reading of the previous meeting was seconded by Barbara Vriale and carried. The Board minutes were read and approved by Tony Perzanowski, seconded by Barbara Vriale and carried.

Financial Secretary – Barbara Vriale reported the deposits for the month of August {$655.50}. A motion by Joy Zanchelli to approve the Financial Secretary`s report was seconded by Joy Vanucchi and carried. Barbara reported she sent out bills to members who have not completed fifty percent of their dock hours by July 1st, 2012. That total was $1,187.50. Barbara has received $590.00 so far. The balance due is $597.50 by August 15th, 2012. Those members who do not pay by August 15th, 2012 will incur a penalty along with postage fee.

Treasurer- At the Board of Directors meeting {7/30/12}, Clark Henderson went over his detailed
financial report. It was reviewed and approved {8/2/12} with a motion by Barbara Vriale,
seconded by Gary Vanucchi and carried.

Vice Commodore- Gary Vanucchi reported the lunches for Saturday and Sunday for dock time @
3 hours, from 11:30-2:30, are going well. REMINDER- WHEN DOING A LUNCH FOR DOCK TIME,
IT HAS TO BE APPROVED BY TONY PERZANOWSKI AND HE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT IS ON
THE LIST TO DO. PLEASE CALL HIM @ 518-622-9777.

Vice Commodore Gary Vanucchi thanked Uwe Hestnar for cooking dinner at the club every night
and keeping the clubhouse clean. There was discussion on purchasing a six to eight foot propane
grill, to cook large amounts of food at one time. We can use the money from the dinners Uwe
put on during the weeks he has been docked at the club. After discussion, Lee Ramsdell said he
would check on a price for one and get back to the board.

THE COMMODOR`S PARTY WILL BE AT FORLINI`S THIS YEAR! MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW

Commodore- Robert LaBuff reported he would like to do a sail away. On Saturday August 18th,
2012 the Hook Boat Club is having a party at their club. Included will be a continental breakfast,
lunch, and steak dinner, music and raffles for $40.00 per person. Please contact Bob Labuff @
518-943-9552 for reservations / questions. Bob needs the check before the 8 th of August.

Dock Master- Tony Perzanowski reported a box of composite screws is missing. If anyone knows
where they are, please let him know. The Lull will be out of service, within the next two weeks/
to possibly the middle of August, to pull the pistons on the right side. On September 15 th, 2012
we will be pulling fingers, to get ready for the party. Tony asked for the member`s cooperation

with this. You may put your boat back in after the party. By September 3rd, 2012 Tony will know
how many boats will have to come out. Tony will need help putting the fingers back in after the
party. You can contact Tony @ 518-622-9777. We will only be renting the docks until the second
week in September. Rentals have to be out by the 14th of September, to get ready for the party.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Rob LaBuff is putting on a Fundraiser Frost Bite Cruise with a raffle. On Friday, September 21 st,
2012, dinner with the {Macerators Band} and Saturday, September 22nd, 2012, continental
breakfast, lunch, pig roast for dinner and the {Sticky Sweet Band} will be playing. Please contact

9552 BY SEPTEMBER 3, 2012 FOR DINNER RESERVATIONS AND BOAT RESERVATIONS FOR
THE WEEKEND, TWO PEOPLE PER BOAT, AND $75.00 A TICKET PER PERSON. RAFFLE WILL BE
HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON- $50.00 PER TICKET, ONLY 200 TICKETS TO BE SOLD. 1 st PRIZE-
$1,500.00, 2nd PRIZE-$750.00, 3rd PRIZE-$500.00, 4th PRIZE-$250.00. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO
BE PRESANT TO WIN. IF YOU CAN NOT SELL THE RAFFLE TICKETS YOU RECEIVED IN THE MAIL,
PLEASE HAVE THE RAFFLE TICKETS BACK TO SUE LABUFF BY SEPTEMBER3rd, 2012, SO WE CAN
SELL THEM. THERE WILL BE SIGN UP SHEETS IN THE CLUBHOUSE FOR MEMBERS WHO WOULD
LIKE TO WORK. WORKING MEMBERS CAN GET THEIR TICKETS REDUCED TO $30.00 DOLLARS.
WE NEED MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATE MEMBERS TO WORK, SO PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY. Uwe
Hestnar is heading up the kitchen. The menu for Friday night- Ragu Bolognese, salad, bread and
butter and sheet cake for dessert. Menu for Saturday-continental breakfast, Lunch- sausage and
peppers, hamburgers and hot dogs, drink specials, Dinner- PIG ROAST, baked beans, and corn on
the cob, salad, sheet cake. Sunday variety of hot breakfast.

Sue LaBuff gave a report on the Party for September- Posters and sign-up sheets are posted. Sue
has received a lot of money for raffle tickets and dinner reservations from other clubs and with
boat reservations also.

Committee Reports:

Bar- Jim Gribben reported the bar made $3,600.00 for July. Jim needs members to sign up for
the party.

House Committee Chairman- no report

Grounds Committee Chairman- Dave Becker thanked Mike McCurry for all his help with the
grounds and the planting. He also thank Jerry Kriloff for all the weed trimming and spraying he
has done.

Gas Chairman- Joe Vriale reported we purchased gas and sold gas.

Council- no report

Dock Rental Chairman- Joy Vanucchi reported from July 6th, 2012 to August 2nd, 2012, we made
$550.00 dollars and $44.00 dollars in tax for dock rentals. The following are docked- Patricia
Tracy, Gerard Uhrik, Suzanne Gardner, Bill Carr, Tony Perzanowski and Ralph Bosley. The docks
are full.

New Business-

Wayne Nelson would like to have a fundraiser for the club like last year, at the Freehold Pub.
He would like the board and membership pick a date in October. The members picked Saturday,
October 20th, 2012. Joe Vriale volunteered to chair the party. He will check with Wayne to see if
that date is good with him and get back to the board.

Old Business-

On the July 2nd, 2012 board meeting, Clark Henderson quoted a price from Henderson for
$6,135.00 for the natural gas furnace with instant hot water, no maintenance and quiet. After
discussion, Clark made a motion to the board that we accept Henderson`s quote and go ahead
with getting the natural gas furnace with instant hot water. Ed Legg seconded and carried. At
the membership meeting {8/2/12}, Commodore LaBuff reported we forgot to discuss this at
the last meeting and vote on it. After discussion Joe Vriale made a motion that we accept the
board`s recommendation to go ahead and purchase the natural gas furnace from Henderson.
Bill Fortman seconded and carried. Joe Vriale said he would take the old furnace. We will check
to see if Henderson will buy the oil back. If he does not, and a member wants to buy the oil,
please contact any board member.

There was discussion about renting the clubhouse out and the rules that should be written down
so each member knows what is expected of them, when renting the club and discussion on
how the board makes proposals, recommendations and how the membership has the final vote.
After discussion Joe Vriale made a motion to leave this up to the board and come back with it to
the membership for a vote. Gary Vanucchi seconded and carried.

Tony Perzanowski reported we should be getting the rest of the bar stools in August and
suggested that we sell the old ones. After discussion, Joe Vriale made a motion to ask Wayne
Nelson if he would consider buying all the old ones for $200.00 dollars. Gary Vanucchi seconded
and carried. Commodore LaBuff thanked Tony for doing all the phone work and putting all the
bar stools together.

THANK YOU BARBARA WALTER FOR DONATING ALL THE COOKING EQUIPMENT TO THE CLUB!

IF ANY MEMBER HAS A FREEZER TO STORE THE ICE IN FOR THE PARTY IN SEPTEMBER THAT THE
CLUB COULD BORROW, PLEASE CONTACT ANY BOARD MEMBER.
