An October membership meeting was called to order @ 7:00 p.m. by Commodore Gary Vanucchi.
A motion by Barbara Vriale to waive the reading of the previous meeting was seconded by JoeVriale and carried. The Board minutes were read and approved by Barbara Vriale, seconded by Joe Vriale and carried.
Financial Secretary – Barbara Vriale reported the deposits for the month of September, {$3,588.50}. Barbara asked that all committee chair people please contact her to report hours, if any associate member has worked for them. Barbara read a letter to the members sent from
Bob Hoffman to let the members know how he is coming along. A motion by Joy Zanchelli to approve the Financial Secretary`s report was seconded by Joe Vriale.
Treasurer- Clark Henderson turned in a detailed financial report to the secretary {09-30-13}. {10-03-13} after discussion , Barbara Vriale made a motion to accept Clark`s financial report, Joy Zanchelli seconded and carried.
Commodore- Gary Vanucchi thanked Jim Gribben for organizing the great Commodore`s Party at The Creekside Restaurant and for all the members and friends who attended. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time. Commodore Vanucchi suggested that we make a rule that every member must attend four meetings a year. There will be discussion on this at the special board meeting , Saturday October 5th, 2013 at twelve noon.
Dock master-Bud Whitcomb reported haul out day will be Sunday, October 27th, 2013 @ 8:00 a.m. If anyone needs work hours please contact Bud at 518-622-8747 or 518-622-3267. The water and electric will be taken out after the 17th of October and you can contact Lenny Asaro @ 518-821-0857, if you need work hours. Bud asked that everyone have their boat out by
Saturday, October 19th, so the fingers can be taken out on Sunday the 20th. Bud thanked Jason Borgen for replacing the boards on the docks and John Ray for painting the mains on the docks. He also thanked Vince Wallace for making the log book for each main and each finger . It has the condition and if it needs any repairs to them. He marked all the stand offs. In the spring we will know exactly what has to be done.
Vice Commodore- Jim Gribben thanked Sean Meagher and his staff for the outstanding job they did on the Commodore`s Party. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time.
Reports:
Bar- Jim Gribben reported the bar is slow this time of the year. Jim thanked everyone for keeping the bar area clean and participating at the bar.
Building Committee Chairman- Vicky Perzanowski`s report was read by the secretary. The grease eater company came in and cleaned the hood filter. The rest of the hood was clean. If anyone needs hours, the ice room needs to have the floor cleaned and painted. Please call Tony or Vicky to make arrangements @ 518-821-5258 or 518-622-9777.
Grounds Committee Chairman – John Ferguson`s report was read by the secretary- No new activity, will need a few people for fall clean up. If any member or associate member needs hours and wants to rake or blow leaves, please call John at 518-589-0142.
Gas Chairman- Joe Vriale reported he received a call from John Ray and Son`s letting us know that next year they will be carrying premium gas with no ethanol in it , but it will have the captain`s mix in it so you will not have to add injection cleaner, etc. The price will be twenty cents more a gallon then what we are paying now for mid grade with 10% ethanol in it. Joe will be taking out the gas pump sometime between 10/20/13 – 10/27/13.
Dock Rental Chairman- Joy Vanucchi reported that dock rentals for September totaled $ 864.00 dollars. The Club thanks Joy Vanucchi for another successful dock rental year!

New Business- Lenny Asaro reported he checked on rubber hose for the docks, three dollars a foot , at N&S Supply. Total for the hose and fittings would be $1,800.00 dollars for the three hundred feet of dock we have. There will be more discussion at the next board meeting.
Old Business- Joe Vriale reported that the September 7th party at the club that Daryl and Joe had, made a profit of $491.50, and $62.00 dollars of that was from the 50/50. Thank you Daryl and Joe!
